Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija – The 91st Infantry (Sinagtala) Battalion, Philippine Army through its commanding officer, Lieutenant Colonel Reandrew P. Gamilla and National Housing Authority Region 3 head, Engineer Jerome M. Yabot on March 25, 2021.
According to LTC Rubio, the housing project worth Php14,400,000 is intended to shelter the initial 32 FRs upon completion of their application of housing assistance and approval of the National Housing Authority (NHA).
Upon approval of the housing applications, each of the 32 FRs will be entitled to one free housing unit worth Php 450,000.
“After our meeting, the NHA and the Municipal Engineering Office conducted a site inspection at Barangay Antipolo, Bongabon where the housing project will be constructed. We also talked with the FRs at Brgy. Tugatog, Bongabon about their application process and other related matters,” said LTC Rubio.
The permanent housing project is intended for those initial 32 FRs who applied for housing units while waiting for the processing of their documents to avail the benefits under the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP), and while they are being prepared for their reintegration into mainstream society.
LTC Rubio expressed his gratitude to the LGU of Bongabon, NHA, and other stakeholders in the implementation of the housing assistance project.
Brigadier General Andrew D. Costelo, the commander of the 703rd Infantry Brigade, commended the collaborative efforts of the 91IB, Bongabon LGU, and NHA to provide shelters to the FRs who are given the chance to live normal lives.
Meanwhile, the commander of the 7th Infantry (Kaugnay) Division, Philippine Army, Major General Alfredo V. Rosario Jr., said that the future housing project is a manifestation of the strong commitment of the government to uplift the living conditions of the FRs through the convergence of efforts of the LGU, NGAs and other stakeholders.
Gen. Rosario Jr.
